Taifa Laptop

The TAIFA Brand Laptop is a product of the Nairobi Industrial and Technological Park (NITP). NITP is a kenyan vision 2030 flagship project between Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Tecnology (JKUAT) and the Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development (MOIED).

Shujaa Tractor

The 10.5 HP tractor project is a collaboration of the JKUAT, SRISTI and USAID INDIA, which is a technology transfer project. It promotes farm mechanization and hence reducing dependence on of unreliable animal draft power or human labour.

Rehau Home Gas

It’s a micro-Bio-gas equipment running on cow dung which is designed for both rural and semi-urban households. It provides the communities with special small bio-gas plants as an alternative source of energy for domestic cooking system. It’s constructed using a special polymer sheet material capable of withstanding UV light and tropical weather conditions for over 50 years.

GoIP Kenya

GoIP Kenya offers Voice over IP solutions for single-site and multi-site businesses. Running on a software IP-PBX, our phone systems support advanced calling features including Voicemail, Interactive Voice Response, Call by name, Voice Conferencing, Video Conferencing, Call recording among many other features. The systems can support hundreds of users without adding any extra hardware. This enables one to maximize on value while minimizing costs.

Our Services
The Kenya Vision 2030 recognizes SME industrial and technology parks as important vehicles through which the growth of Kenya’s manufacturing sector can be fast-tracked. Industrial and technology parks are key elements of the infrastructure supporting the growth of today’s global knowledge economy. In the context of institutions of higher education, a university has the mandate of training, research and innovation. It first and foremost graduates students and generates high end research and innovation. The research and innovation can sometimes be jewels on dusty shelves if not nurtured to raise viable commercial enterprises. In this respect JKUAT via NITP comes in to raise these viable commercial enterprises, via provision of the following services:

 

Support Services

This division will provide services to the tenants, management, partners and visitors of the Park as follows: Facilities development, repairs and maintenance of their products, warranty and call centres management.

Business Planning Support

This division will be responsible for the following services: Registration of businesses and companies, business plan development services, financial management and other related legal and business related services.

Technical Services

This division will provide services to the tenants, management, partners and visitors of the Park that deal with product development.
